What data do I collect?

I receive, collect and store the information you enter on my website or provide me in any other way. In addition, I collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information. I may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. I also collect personally identifiable information (including name and email if provided); comments, feedback, and personal profile.

How do I collect the data and where do I store it?

When you provide information in the Contact Me details box this information is sent directly to me via email via the Wix support platform who host this website. Your personal information will entered into a database stored on my personal computer, protected by all reasonable precautions including firewall, password protected document and bio-identity/password protected computer access. The Personal data will be used to respond to your enquiry, request for a free quote and for the specific reasons stated above only. If you do not wish me to keep your data, please advise me at your own convenience either via the Contact Me detail box on the home page of this website, or by writing directly to my email: Kathy@writeorwrong.co.nz. I will confirm the deletion of your details from my database and you will not hear subsequently from me.

Moreover, I use Google Analytics to monitor activity to my website and to determine which pages are of most interest to visitors and users. The data is non-identifiable and is collected by Google Analytics for statistical analysis. I only receive the analysis of the data.

Why do I collect this data?

I collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

To provide and enhance my services in response to comments and feedback;
To provide my website visitors with responses to their enquiries;
To be able to contact my site visitors and users with general or personalized service-related notices and promotional messages (very rare);
To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal information within Google Analytics, which I may use to provide and improve my services;
To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

Our respective rights with regards to the data collected

I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If I make material changes to this policy, I will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information I collect, how I use it, and under what circumstances, if any, I use and/or disclose it.
I you wish to update, modify or delete your data at any time, please email your request to: Kathy@writeorwrong.co.nz I will confirm the amendment and/or deletion providing I have your email address. If you have requested a deletion, you will recieve no subsequent communication from me thereafter.
